What is NCBD?
NCBD stands for New Comic Book Day and this is the day our CLZ Content Team updates and adds all new releases for that week in our Core central online comic database, complete with cover art, variant descriptions and creator lists.
Every week on Wednesday (which is NCBD) we have a dedicated NCBD blogpost where you can check out some highlights for that week!

The “NCBD” tab has a couple of different ways to filter down that long new release list for that week (or a different week): you can see them all in 1 big list, find out which of them are new series (#1’s), if anything is coming out for “my series”, or just browse your pull list:
- All: show all issues to be released in the selected week
- #1’s: show #1 issues only, so just new series
- My Series: show all new issues for series I own
- Pull List: show all new issues for series on my Pull List
Navigate between weeks
Use the next / previous arrows next to the week heading to navigate between weeks. Or just tap the heading to select from a dropdown of all available weeks.
Variants
Issues that have multiple variants are shown as a stack of comics, also indicating the number of available variants. Tap the issue to see all variants.
Sort by popularity or alphabetically
Use the toggle at the top right to switch between Alphabetical sorting or by Popularity.
The popularity is calculated by what we call the “cloud count”, that is, the number of users who have the issue (or one of its variants) listed in their cloud data already (either in their collection or on their wish list).
