News: all updates for our software and apps
Most of the CLZ team members love building Lego projects in their spare time. So we decided to a big build together, at the CLZ HQ:
The Lego Barad-dûr tower.
40 bags of bricks for 40 build stages, a total of 5,471 bricks!
The CLZ team is taking turns building this huge tower. Follow our progress here!
Day 1
Justin kicked off with the first bag of bricks:
39 bags to go.
Day 2
Bag 2 is for Alwin

Day 3
Justin had another go…
Then it was AJ’s turn:
And Rowdy is now throwing some bricks on!
We also found Gollum:
Day 4
The tower is coming along! The foundation on the right side of the tower has been build by Syts today. She had some troubles in the beginning, but she’s on her 3rd bag now! This is bag 13.
Day 5
We got a lot done today! Bernard started with the foundation on the inside. Justin did some detailing along with the mechanism for opening the doors. Alwin did the interiors and made some orcs! CLZ_AJ is now finishing the first booklet with bag number 19!
Instruction book 1 finishes the lower side of the tower. So tomorrow we’re starting on the 2nd part!
Day 6
Productive day today, as we finished stages 20 through 25!
( we’ve got nothing else to do anyway 😉 )
Today’s builders were Pim, Sytske, Justin and Alwin.
We started on the 2nd floor of the tower!
Day 7
It’s Friday, so we’re getting some build time in before the weekend!
Today’s builders: Alwin, Sytske, Justin, Rowdy and AJ.

Even on Monday, the building immediately starts again.

Tuesday morning, before doing any programming, Joe started doing his part on the Lego build.
The tower is getting higher now. Almost done!
