Cataloging your CDs using the Collectorz.com laser barcode scanner

You can drastically reduce the time it takes to add CDs to your database. Use the Collectorz.com barcode scanner to enter the barcodes of your CDs. Music Collector uses the barcodes to download all CD information from the internet, including the cover images. You don't have to type anything yourself, so you'll have your entire CD collection cataloged in no time at all.

Because the Collectorz.com scanner has a built-in memory, you can take it to your CDs and scan the items on their shelf instead of carrying all the CDs to your computer - and back again. These scanned barcodes will be loaded into Music Collector automatically when the scanner is re-connected to the computer.

Software Integration

The Music Collector software has fully integrated support for the Collectorz.com scanner and its batch scanning features.
The program uses the scanned barcodes to look up CD information in our own online CD database, as well as Amazon US, Amazon UK, Amazon Canada, Amazon Germany and Amazon Japan.

CDs that cannot be found in these sources can of course still be added to your catalog by having the program scan the actual CD in your CD-ROM drive or by simply typing the Artist and Title.
