Cataloging your books using the Collectorz.com laser barcode scanner

You can drastically reduce the time it takes to add books to your database. Use the Collectorz.com barcode scanner to enter the ISBN barcodes of your books. Book Collector uses the barcodes to download all book information from the internet, including the cover images. You don't have to type anything yourself, so you'll have your entire book collection cataloged in no time at all.

Because the Collectorz.com scanner has a built-in memory, you can take it to your books and scan them on their shelves instead of carrying all the books to your computer - and back again. These scanned ISBNs will be loaded into Book Collector automatically when the scanner is re-connected to the computer.

Software Integration

The Book Collector software has fully integrated support for the Collectorz.com scanner and its batch scanning features.

The program uses the scanned ISBN numbers to find and download book information from various sites on the internet, including Amazon US, Amazon UK, Amazon Canada, Amazon Germany, Amazon Japan and the national libraries of many countries.
Books that cannot be found by ISBN can of course still be added to your database by using the Author / Title search feature.
